Wellness Care
Annual visits and a general physical examination with a veterinarian at Troy. As animals cannot voice their own concerns, these check-ups are essential in order to gain insight into your pet's overall health and wellness. The annual visit is also a good time to discuss parasite prevention and vaccination options. Customizing wellness care for your pet is important to us, as animals have different needs based on their breeds, health and lifestyles. These are also good times to discuss diet and nutrition and dental health.
Wellness Plans are available and add value to our Wellness Care program. Wellness Plans allow you to divide routine veterinary expenses into a monthly payment plan. This can be especially helpful for dogs and cats who would benefit from regular dental care. In addition, free examinations are included in the plans, encouraging owners to seek veterinary assistance earlier than they may otherwise. This creates a better opportunity for us to diagnose early and have treatment success.
Medical Care
Troy Animal Hospital is well equipped with the knowledge and resources to diagnose and treat medical issues for your pets. Our veterinarians work together to develop diagnostic and treatment plans. We are equipped with an in house laboratory, radiography and ultrasound. All of our veterinarians receive additional training in ultrasound imaging and seek regular continuing education to maintain our high practice standard of care. We are also fortunate to have working relationships with an internal medicine specialist and a cardiologist who will come to Troy and provide in house consultations in their areas of specialty.
Dentistry
Dr Paula has always enjoyed dentistry and the positive outcomes that clients experience when their pets have their teeth cleaned and diseased teeth removed. She has sought out extra educational opportunities in dentistry and oral health and treatment has become a large part of Troy Animal Hospital. At our new location we have a dental suite equipped with state of the art anesthetic monitoring equipment and dental X-ray. Dr Jackie Haas has also completed continuing education in dental care and treatment and is enjoying helping your pets in our bright new space.
