Many of the gait abnormalities that we evaluation are subtle, and all but the most severe lameness’s can be masked by the anxiety of excitement of a veterinary visit. Correctly filmed home videos are an essential part of a lameness evaluation and allow the veterinarian to see how the dog moves in a more relaxed environment. Any videos that you have of your dog having this specific issue - during competition of training or simply at home rising from a laying down position will be valuable to our assessment. Often these video files are too large to submit via email, therefore you may alternatively send these files to our Troy Animal Hospital account via Facebook Messenger.
